Dun Dun DUHHH!!! New scenario. Back to Minho. I was originally going to use Jinki, but Minho’s personality was more fun to use in this, so, yeah… I’m sorry I haven’t finished my other requests, but I swear I’m working on it! I will finish them. Eventually.

You understand that assistants are usually hired to keep their bosses organized, on task, and sane; but as you watch your new PA breeze through an intimidating stack of paperwork that’s accumulated over the past two and a half weeks since you fired your last assistant, answer (usually hectic, angry, and cursing) phone calls with one of the most polite and civil tones you’ve ever heard, and manage to bring you your formosa bai hao (aka green tea from a province in China) at a quarter to ten just as you asked, you can’t help but hope for failure one day.

He’s good. Too good. So good that you’re afraid you’ve hired a mental person who suffers from a disease that makes him keep every pen in the office perfectly lined up and keep all the manuscripts flawlessly stapled and bound.

Minho glances up in your general direction, and even though there’s a wall separating his desk outside from your much larger office, it’s made of glass and doesn’t offer much camouflage. You immediately set to making it look like you’re reading the manuscript you’ve neglected for the past twenty minutes, and when a reasonable amount of time has passed you peek over the pages of the maybe-book and Minho’s running a hand through his lack of hair, a look of complete indifference, and almost boredom, on his face. Just like it is every day.

Minho may be impeccably neat, polite, organized, and obedient, but, to say it kindly, he’s boring. You honestly wanted to choose the applicant with the half shaved head; the one who was exciting, straightforward, and much more inspiring. But your fellow co-workers, the ones who are high enough up in the business to speak their minds to you, thought that might have been a bit of a stretch to take.

So you got Minho instead. The kill joy robot who you’ve never seen smile and who wears a different dress shirt and matching blazer every day.
